Thursday 9th November- Smoothies

So me and my Dad have gone a bit mad with smoothies lately...we are buying 5-6 fruits each day from Sainsbury’s and throwing them all in a blender and mixing them up. The drinks taste good once they are made and they will hopefully stop me from snacking on biscuits during the day (I just can’t help it!)  

As some of you probably know having a strong immune system for runners is really important so adding more fruit and veg to my daily diet will hopefully boost my immune system and help me recover better between hard sessions. 

Here is what we are putting in our smoothies:

- Blueberries

- Orange

- Apple

- Pear 

- Grapes 

Sometimes also adding kale, spinach and carrot!
